Angela Tremble was the name she was given at birth, the musical icon was born on July 1st 1945 in Miami, Florida. She was later adopted at 3 months old by Richard and Catherine Harry and adopted the name Deborah Ann Harry a.k.a Debbie Harry. Debbie was raised in Hawthorne, New Jersey. While she was growing up she sang at Churches, and also made it to college for 2 years before dropping out. In the 1960’s she worked as a playboy bunny and waited tables at a popular downtown club that was apart of the music and art culture called Max’s Kansas City. Debbie started her professional singing career in 1968 with a folk band named “The Wind in the Willows”. She was the backup singer for their only album released. Shortly afterwards the band broke up
