First, I am bothered that my daughters are shown the fatal struggles of pursuing a perfect body that could put them in jeopardy for eating disorder—because according to one of Beyonce’s songs in her album, "Pretty Hurts." Secondly, I am bothered that my daughters listen to Beyonce, who is sexually objectifying herself in her own song, “Blow” associating her female genitalia with a piece of candy that can be bought and sold. And lastly, I didn’t try my hardest to conceal my own “domestic abuse”—from my girls, only to let them be exposed to such thing today—by listening to this song line: “I'm Ike, now eat the cake, Anna Mae, I said eat the cake, Anna Mae!” Obviously, such “lyric” is the famous line of Ike Turner (who is known to be a wife-beater)
