When I came to college I told myself that I would not, under any circumstances, join a fraternity. Now I’m the scholarship chair for Phi Sigma Kappa. Part of the reason I did not want to join Greek life was due to my oldest sister dropping out of college after she joined a sorority, I believed that joining a fraternity and sorority would destroy my GPA and that I would end up flunking out of college just like her. It wasn’t until I met two people from Greek life that I began to get a better image of what it meant to be Greek. It was actually one of those two people that recommended me and after meeting with Greg multiple times and seeing what Phi Sigma Kappa had to offer, I was hooked.
