Introduction
Zika Virus Disease is a mosquito-borne disease that is caused by the bite of the infected Aedes species mosquitoes which frequently live around buildings in the city area. The mosquitoes active during daylight hours which means that the peak beating activity occurs in early mornings and late afternoon. It is first identified in Uganda through a monitoring network of sylvatic yellow fever in rhesus monkeys in 1947. The first human cases of Zika virus disease were detected in 1952 in Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzaria and the outbreaks of Zika virus disease also have been reported in tropical Africa, Pacific Islands, and the Southeast Asia. Transmission Zika virus is transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes.…show more content… The symptoms usually mild and last for 2 to 7 days. The incubation period of the Zika virus ranges from 3 to 12 days. There is a high rate of asymptomatic infection with Zika virus which is similar to other flavivirus like dengue virus and West Nile virus. The hospitalization rates are low because many people might not know they have been infected. The infected patients normally recover without severe complications. There is no death case has been reported until now. However, the zika virus can be transmitted to the feotus from the pregnant women who infected with zika virus. The babies will be born with a birth defect of the brain which called as microcephaly. Industries release the waste products and smoke to the environment and this leads to the pollution to the air, water and also sound.
