World War II had Germany, Italy and Japan on one side which are termed as the Axis Powers whereas the other side had United States, France, China and Russia which are termed as the Allies. It began in September 1939 when Germany invaded Poland and consequently Germany was attacked by France and the United Kingdoms. Germany was responsible for World War II but there were many other factors too. Germany shouldn’t be solely held responsible. The other root causes of World War II lies in knowing what happened in the aftermath of World War I. The following are the factors responsible for World War II:

It officially ended the war between the Allied Powers and Germany. However, the treaty was very harsh. First of all, Germany was only called to listen to the discussion of their fate and the treaty was actually signed between Italy, France, America and Britain. Secondly, the Treaty made Germany accept that it was solely responsible for the beginning of World War I and for the damages and losses incurred to the Allied nations. Thirdly, Germany was made to pay 6600 million $ as reparation cost to the Allied nations, which was too high an amount in the name of reparation. Fourthly, Germany also had to give away its lands such as Saarland and Danzig for a period of about 15 years. Finally, Germany had to limit its military force to about 100,000 men and it was not allowed to possess tanks and aircrafts. It was too unfair for Germany to be made to sign such a treaty with its already existing economic and political situation. This treaty made all the Germans furious, creating political discontent and economic chaos and they wanted to destroy it.
