Did Kurt Cobain Really Commit Suicide?! Kurt Cobain, The lead singer of Nirvana, signed with Geffen Records in 1991, he also began using Heroin around this time. In 1994 Kurt was suspected of committing Suicide in his guest house in Seattle. Cobain had a difficult childhood, He was talented but very troubled. He learnt to play the piano just by listening and Enjoyed playing the play drum set his parents bought him. He had a younger sister who was born in 1971, but both children had to listen to the fighting at home. His parents were tired of always fighting and finally got a divorce, at this time Kurt was only 9 years old. He went to live with his father after the divorce, he usually visited his Mother and sister on the weekend. Not long after his father got remarried and Kurt resented his stepmother and her two children. Kurt received a gift from his uncle Chuck. He got a Guitar, the guitar was old, and worn down. Only because I love and feel sorry for people too much I guess” Here Cobain don’t want to seem like his isn’t grateful for what he has, Cobain knows he should be happy with everything he has but he still doesn’t enjoy what he does in life. “I've tried everything within my power to appreciate it (and I do, God, believe me I do, but it's not enough). I appreciate the fact that I and we have affected and entertained a lot of people.” Kurt states that there is some good in his life but however the good outweighs the bad. So the real question is, was this letter a suicide note, or could it of been a letter stating that he was leaving the band and Courtney? Did Courtney find the note and then proceed to kill Cobain?
