A twelve year old boy named Troy Ellsworth was hit by 47 year old Robert G. Whitman while riding his bike. He was hit from behind and went through the car's windshield. Whitman stopped the vehicle and aided Troy at the incident. Troy was originally hospitalised in Baldwin, but was transferred to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Troy suffered a few broken bones and other injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery. Whitman may also be cited for the accident, which is under investigation.
Both of them are incredibly lucky something worse didn't happen to Troy. The entire incident could have been avoided if Robert had been more observant. It's very good Whitman stopped to help Troy instead of leaving the scene. I do hope that Troy makes a
