The victim’s sense of security can be harmed knowing that a stranger is out there with their personal information. It can be rather unnerving to know an identity thief can use the victim’s personal information to commit multiple crimes. Becoming a victim of identity theft not only hurts the victim’s sense of security, it can cause the victim to feel frustrated as well as embarrassed. It can become frustrating sitting in front of a phone and putting other things aside in order to fix the identity problem.
