This story involves a citizen’s complaint about a specific officer’s use of force on him. This story is an excellent example of vicarious contact. Cabaniss, the victim, clams that he is just one of several citizens of Bokchito to be harassed by the officer. He talked about how other people had told him of their encounter with this officer. Along with that about how an employee of his filed a misconduct report on the officer so he thought he was getting back at him for it.
