Avery Dennison is a multinational graphic, labeling and packaging company with a stated mission “To be the world leader in products, services and solutions that enable and transform the way consumers and businesses gather, manage, distribute and communicate information” (MissionStatements, 2015). Avery Dennison’s “Our Company” pages do reflect that mission statement. Their pages reflect that they are a global leader in graphics, labeling and RFID tags (“The Big Picture”, 2013). There are activities listed on the pages outside the mission statement, but not contradictory to it. The “Our Company” pages suggest that Avery Dennison has in the past achieved its mission statement and that it is seeking to repeat the achievement in another capacity. The review of Avery Dennison’s “Our Company” page does not discuss social, environmental, ethical or human resource concerns since those items are not mentioned in the mission statement. In that regard the company webpage is consistent with the mission statement. Avery Dennison’s mission statement to be a world leader in products, services and solutions is addressed on their about us page by noting that they are a Fortune 500 company with operations in 50 countries. The forward looking aspect of the mission statement might be addressed by the retail branding and information solutions division, however the business summary page notes that at present the information solutions division only accounts for 26% of total sales, while their materials group represents 73% of sales (“Business Summary” 2013). This could imply that the business is hoping to transition, or diversify into information
