Urinary incontinence is the health condition that has caught my attention. According to National Institutes of Health (NIH), urinary incontinence is the “loss of bladder control. Symptoms can range from mild leaking to uncontrollable wetting.” It can happen to anyone but urinary continence affects mainly the elderly and women have double the risk of being infected (NIH 2013). A study done by Reviews in Urology indicates the highest number of urinary continence cases is at the period of menopause with an age group of 50-59. About half of the percentage of urinary incontinence cases reported among women, 30% to 50% affected is elderly (Nitti 4). Cases of severe incontinence in elderly men are estimated to be half of that in women (Nitti 7). There
