Every child has grown up watching cartoons and Disney movies, and while these movies maybe entertaining and informative,sometimes due to "disneyfication" these movies do not follow the actual events. The movie Pocahontas is a prim example of disneyfication. While the movie follows the basic storyline of the actual events such as where John Smith landed and what tribe he interacted with, some places the movie makes up for a lack of romance and action that didn't really happen.
