“Clingy, needy, inappropriate, rude, likely to get into trouble, and a poor student”(5) are all words that would describe the effects of being a child of a uninvolved parent. The word uninvolved speaks for itself, a parent who is not around or involved in the child’s life the way they should be. A parent who is uninvolved has the goals to give the child a place to sleep and food that is it, they do not have the need to give the child anything else. “While these parents fulfill the child’s basic needs, they are generally detached from their children’s life. In extreme cases, these parents may even reject or neglect the needs of their children.”(1) Parents who don’t give advice or teach a child how to do something could result in going to school
