This book by Bob Sorge is one of the most profound books I’ve read. He opens the first part of the book with essential foundation lessons on how to build a secret place with God. Upon reading this book, it made me to pursue more personal time with God, and be in that secret place with Him.
“The secret place is your portal to the throne, the place where you taste of heaven itself (8)”. This is one of the most beautiful lines in the book, and one of my personal favorite. It is a simple statement, yet so rich in its depth and meaning. Our doorway to His intimate presence is through the secret place. It is where we taste of His goodness and rejoice. And it is the place where we have reached wherein we have abundant joy no matter what our circumstances
