In the past years, the dispute of whether or not the red-light traffic cameras should be banned have sparked a wide group of the American citizens and have perceived a gradual common picture: the onslaught of automated observing red-light cameras being placed at traffic lights and intersections with a single determination of recording a drivers behavior to issue a traffic violation. This article encourages readers to understand what really is happening and the unknown information the media fails to disclosure to the public about the red-light traffic cameras. Skrum talks about how the safety in these areas where the red-light traffic cameras are installed that the police and the city is not concerned about the safety of the citizens. Most of the reports and statistics on red-light traffic cameras have shown a growth in accidents. The evidence indicated in this article states that these accidents are caused by drivers having to smash on their brakes due to the unknown incidences of the red-light at the intersections. Skrum provided several examples that there are several cities throughout the United States that uses the systems, funds a great percentage of their funds. Houston is now facing a $10 million budget deficit after the people voted to remove the red light cameras from
