After reading The Princess Bride and seeing the movie, I know the differences between the two I liked the book better because there was way more explanation and detail than what was in the movie. The movie left out significant explanations, and love scenes that are needed to make this a romantic comedy. While reading the book I was able to become very in depth and felt like I was there. While watching the movie, I just became bored. There are a few differences that helped make my choice, such as the first scene, the kidnapping scene, Princess Norrena, information on Inigo and Fezzik, as well as the search by the two men for Westley.
