Some of the individual guidelines to suicide prevention are very important and should be taken seriously. We should always help people, or get them the help they need if they are having thoughts about suicide. Being in the Human Services career I will never leave my client alone if they are going through a crisis. I will definitely do everything that’s in my power to get that person all the help they need. It would be really difficult for me to know that someone committed suicide and I did not do anything to help that person I would not be able to forgive myself for it.
