The largest of the quantity of water in California is 70 million acre-feet. California is currently in a drought and experts believe that there will be a limited amount of water in the future. California’s water use will increase by 4 million acre-feet by the year 2030. Therefore, what plan can manage California's fresh water,whose perspective is important and what type of scientist should be involved.
Undoubtedly, the majority of people would wait until the rain comes as their plan for California. The plan I recommend for California preserving freshwater is reducing the agriculture water use. Cutting down the demand of water for agriculture from 20 million acre feet is 15 million acre feet would be a good start,especially for the Colorado
