In the two versions of "The Hitchhiker" that we watched, there are many similarities and many differences. In the 1960's episode of The Twilight Zone, instead of the main character being a man, which he was in the radio show, the character is a girl named Nan. While the differences don’t end there, there are also many similarities. Some of the scenes are word for word. Most of the settings are the same as well. The two episodes are more like each other than you would think, but there are still many differences. Some of the many differences of the 1941 version and the 1960 version are the scenes and who is talking.
