The fifth rule they talk about in the laws of change is “You can’t draft people into change. They have to enroll”, which basically states that you can’t force someone to change, they have to do it by themselves or just think their doing it by themselves. This rule is important to the steps of change because if you force someone to change and they are against it, they won’t do their job efficiently and to the best of their ability. The key to making change happen is to create an environment where people are persuaded into the direction you want them to go.
