Friendships should not be bound or limited, nor accepted less based on racial differences. People are so fixed on the notion that Blacks should not interact with Whites, that they completely forget the benefits of having different perspectives. Kevin McDonald in his article “The Black Code” claims that Blacks who socialize with Whites tend to be looked down upon by other blacks. The “Black Code” refers to the attitude among blacks that relationships with Whites should be kept at arm's lengths. Blacks who appear to friendly and comfortable around Whites are viewed with suspicion; their blackness in question. A recent experiment conducted on a Facebook page consisted of a White person alone, Black alone, and a Black and White person in two conditions,
