The Texas Civil War was a major battle in Texas history. One of the reasons the battle started was because of texas seceding.The important thing is to be able to locate mountains and basins, great plains, north central plains and coastal plains region. Also places of importance, such as major cities, rivers, natural and historic landmarks, political and cultural regions, and local points of interest. Some of the major events and battles included the Battle of Nueces, the Battle of Galveston, and the Sabine Pass.
