Teach Vocation Bible School
241 Words1 Page
Growing up I was always a shy child. I had a fear of expressing myself. It was not until my ninth grade year that I was introduced to service. I have always been involved in my Catholic Faith but I never truly enjoyed it. I started attending Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, and was later asked to help teach Vocation Bible School.
It was the first year to do this at my church, so we spent about two weeks preparing for our classes. When it came time for our first day to teach our class, I was nervous but knew I could not back out. I shared my knowledge about Christ with my CCD group. Having twenty-four kids look up to me and take every word I said to heart made me realize that it was okay to be myself and share my love of God with them.
