Torture and the Medical Profession gives a new perspective on torture that most people would not think of. In the 21st century we grew up with the idea that doctors are professionals who can help us when we are sick. We unconsciously link healthcare professionals with positive attitudes and this article tells us otherwise. This article describes how doctors use their medical knowledge to maximize the amount of time of torture. The concept of medical ethnics is put into question along with moral ethnics when doctors became torturers. Doctors as tortures became pawns of the State like any torturers whom has no prior medical knowledge.
