Ligua's situation has some personal barriers . She found herself struggle with being the best person she can be. She wants to be the best mother, student, and worker. Another personal barrier that Ligua faces in her life is that she feels overwhelmed at school. In her classes, the professors only call her on when they need minority’s opinion about topics and she is never call on by professors to answer challenging questions. One of the social barriers that Ligua is face with in her life is that her neighbors judged her life.
