The Tale of Two Idols
The story of Sergio Cortez begins in Barcelona, Spain in 1971. Sergio was a Micheal Jackson fan from Micheal's earliest days with the Jackson Five. His interest with Jackson's career never waned and in fact deepened as time progressed. Jackson was Sergio's idol. The die-hard fan never missed any of the young singer's TV appearances. As a teen, Sergio began imitating the young Jackson. The young Sergio's striking appearance caught the eye of a reporter. The reporter asked Sergio to pose for photos as Micheal Jackson and Sergio obliged. Soon, the photo went viral and Sergio began receiving offers for jobs as a Micheal Jackson impersonator.
