Scholarly writing and using a scholarly voice is important because it ensures that the vocabulary were are using is at the proper level for our audience, that we only focus on the evidence without making assumptions, and that we use our scholarly voice and staying away from clichés, slang, jargon, and that it is about quality not quantity.
One of my weaknesses is the use of bad phrases, which includes quality and quantity of inappropriate words, phrases, and clichés. The second weakness is the use of passive phrases
