Ruben Espinosa a photojournalist was found shot and bound execution-style in a private apartment in a middle class neighborhood of Navarte in Mexico City in July 31, 2015. In the apartment, four other women were also shot and one of them was a human right activist. Espinosa exiled himself from Veracruz, which is known as one of the most dangerous states because he was receiving threats related to his work in the gulf coast state of Veracruz. He is the first exiled journalist killed in the federal district.
