When considering a career in the criminal justice, a person must carefully look into responsibilities this will entail, the skills one must succeed, plus other important aspects such as working condition, salary, and other future things about your career. However just as important is to carefully seek out the higher learning such as The University of Texas at Brownsville is the best school to prepare you for this profession. When it comes to your task and responsibilities you have to be on the call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may be asked to investigate a number of crimes associated with customs and immigration including dealing with money laundering, human trafficking, immigration fraud, child exploitation, cyber crime, drug trafficking, gang activity and weapon smuggling and trafficking. General education core is 48 hours, your major requirements are 54 hours. Through out these hours of the day you will be learning different things. Through the introduction to the final test course. You’ll need 6hrs on your electives, and Interdisciplinary social science support course are 12hrs. Major thing about this is that you have to pass them in order to graduate. Total Credit hours for graduation are 120hrs, but that is just for one year and 1 class. You still need 3 more to go and 3 more classes to go. For the criminal justice class it is just 480 hours for
