Lorikeets are full of amazement birds. Rainbow lorikeets are mainly in north-east Australia. Their habitat is from forests that are ,coastal or inland or to any area even urban areas that have adaptable trees. The birds use lots of time feeding and majority of their food comes from trees. They eat flowers, pollen, nectar, blossoms mainly from , berries and fruits. For harder fruits or seeds they reduce the fruit inside their beak or with their tongue they roll the fruit against the inside of their beak. They usually feed on insects and larvae. They get moisture from water trapped in the leaves.But they can also drink water directly from a pond, river, or a stream. They can live for 25-28 years. The Rainbow Lorikeet is up to about 14 inches
