The career that I am pursuing in the biomedical engineering field is the development of prosthetics and artificial limbs and organs. I became interested in prosthetics when I was a kid after seeing the veteran’s prosthetics. The prosthetics they had were merely there for looks and weren’t really good for anything. I always thought it could and should be better. Since then, I put together ideas of what a good prosthetic would have. I considered things like design and functionality. Later on when I was in high school, I considered weight size and other things that would make it more like a real arm and less like a prosthetic add on. I want to make a prosthetic that is so good they forgot that they lost their limb. I was also interested in stem
