It is very important that you attend the library session next Tuesday, October 5. Details for this meeting are in the syllabus.
It is also very important for all of you to attend the individual meetings I will hold with each of you the week after next (October 12). I will be in my office starting at 1:30pm. I will put up a sheet on the door for you to sign the time you wish to come in. I will be there from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
In the meantime, you should be giving thought to your paper topic. You can come in with a well-worked topic, with a vague idea, or with several ideas. As I said in class, the quicker you have a worked out topic
