Labor day comes and goes every year. Many people acknowledge it, but they don’t acknowledge it for what it truly is. This proposal will attempt to help people know more about labor day and get involved in the community. Before the proposal, I am here to give a little background on labor day. Having knowledge about something is important to be able to truly appreciate it. Labor day began in 1894, July 23rd. Ever since that day, the first monday of September has marked the day that we honor the efforts of workers in Canada’s past.
