Baking cakes and pies is one of the family past time and enjoyment. My mother and grandmother never used a cook book for their cake recipes, just relied on their taste. Baking is one of my favorite past time and relaxation. Baking is one of the family traditions; everyone has a different recipe for pound cake, which they share occasionally. Pound cakes are usually golden brown with a rich, moist and buttery taste. In this paper I will determine in an experiment if increasing the number of eggs in a pound cake recipe will change the cake consistency, moisture and taste.
