I’ve never been interested in post-apocalyptic based zombie horror movies. All the serious zombie movies had the same basic concept: some virus or chemical outbreak is uncontrollably spread, affecting millions of lives, who are now fending for themselves in a post-apocalyptic world against the zombie’s unexplained appetite for human flesh, specifically brains. “Warm Bodies” is a 2013 paranormal romantic zombie comedy that is aimed toward teenage girls. “As much as I enjoy "The Walking Dead" on AMC and movies such as "28 Days Later," one of my ongoing complaints about the explosion of the zombie genre is the general mopery and overall predictability of those ever-staggering creatures” (Roeper). As much as people enjoy a good zombie movie from time to time, people can get really tired of the overall predictability of a zombie horror movie; they groan and snarl, they all of a sudden don’t know how to open doors and slowly walk into fences and glass walls repeatedly, they hunt for the scent of human flesh, then someone shoots them in the head and die. People could be mislead that “Warm Bodies” is just another zombie movie but with an irrelevant subject of a zombie falling in love. It sounds completely absurd; a zombie falling in love, especially a human? There is a strong biased opinion formed because we only see from the human survivor’s perspective. We actually don’t know if a zombie can still actually feel anything in their state and if what they are doing to people is any of their control. That’s why, when it comes to the main character’s unusual love story, it gave a new perspective to what zombies can be capable
