The second poem I chose to analyse is “Honor Our Military” by Joanna Fuchs. This poem honours the patriots of USA for their hardship. The author of the poem Joanna Fuchs talks about the work that soldiers have to go through in there everyday life in combat. There are a lot of examples of patriotism throughout this poem like for example “Whose dedication to our country does not falter, halt or swerve”. This statement shows the commitment of the men and women who serve for our country as they will do anything for justice.
