Christmas in our family is the same as any other family. The turkey in the oven, the Christmas goodies filling the kitchen, the tree lit up and overflowing presents underneath it. But this year was different. This is our year, we get to go to Florida! We go every three years because my dad's family lives up there. Don't get me wrong I love my mom's side, it's just, I really love Florida, too. So we were all packing, getting ready to go to the airport. Our flight time was at 12:00. It was 11:00 so we were rushing. It was bitter cold outside. It was snowy and windy but it wasn't a blizzard. We fled out of the house and filled up the car, our luggage and us. We had five people in our family. The oldest is my dad, next is my mom. I'm the oldest…show more content… "Mom... why did this happen to us? don't they know we just want to see our family for Christmas and go to Disney World?" I asked. "I know Kasey, but you need to be patient. Haven't you ever heard the saying good things come to those who wait. Everything happens for a reason it will all work out just fine." Replied my mother. We made our way all the way to the back of the building. This is the first time I heard the flight attendant talk in person and not over the loudspeaker, "Okay, great, is everyone here?" she looked around, "Since you're flight has been delayed we are letting you be able to leave the building, just remember when you come back you will have to go through security again. You do not have to leave if you do not wish to, we are just helping you out." We decided to run home so I could get my ear buds and dad could get his camera batteries. When we got back we checked through security again. We sat down for a few minutes and…show more content… It was even worse. We were going to the Bug's Life show. My parents turned around for a little bit and Aiden was gone. He was missing! We searched all over. Nobody found him. The whole staff there wasn't finding him anywhere. An hour later, a cart worker called in. They had found him. Some lady was waiting for her daughter and saw him just sitting there. We ran up there. He was sitting on a bench by the Expedition Everest ride. I felt relieved. It was all my fault, if I could've just waited, he wouldn't have been missing. The worker talked to us for a little bit. My mom asked Adam where he had gotten the giraffe pillow pet and kettle corn he was holding. "I think he stole that. But that's fine, let him keep it. After all he's had a rough day." He said. My parents thanked him and we finished off our day. We went on a few more rides. My favorite was the Expedition Everest one. Who knew! We all went back to our hotel and slept. We packed up in the morning and flew back home. This flight wasn't delayed. That was a pretty exciting trip. We all settled down at home. Now it's time for our next big mission. MOVING. I couldn't wait! But I will, because we all know the outcome of that. So because of my pain. You can all learn a
