It’s not a secret that many people don’t like public speaking. I have taken several classes where I was required to speak in front of my peers. In seventh grade, my mom chose my classes. I ended up with in public speaking. Though I passed, it was a horribly nerve-wracking experience. I came out of no better a speaker than when I entered. My college Spanish classes required me to speak several times. The main thing I learned was that I sound like just as much of an idiot in Spanish as I do in English. This communications class has proven to be a little bit different. My first speech was still nerve wracking and I could barely get through it.
