When I first got into high school I knew I wanted to really become a part of the school. I focused my energy on joining many clubs, the Associated Student Body, and persevering academically. I desired a leadership position because it would allow me to contribute to my school and class in a positive way. I would be able to hear the complaints and commendations and be able to act upon them. My first year I ran for Freshman class treasurer, sophomore year, secretary, and my junior and senior years I ran for vice president. Though every year, I lost by a few votes. Along with running for ASB, I also ran for positions in the clubs I joined such as Honors Society, Fashion Club, FCCLA, and Theater Club. Being an underclassman did hinder the lobby
