Personal Narrative: Half Baked Christian

On March 8th 2015, everything changed for me. You see, on that day, I became more than a “Half Baked Christian.” I let go of the belief I once had concerning my faith. It was on that day that I no longer subscribed to something called easy-believism salvation. This is the idea that salvation comes through the agreement and acknowledgement of a certain set of facts concerning sin, the cross, and Jesus. It could also entail having knowledge of God and exercising morality by attending church, reading scripture and even teaching. However, in James 2:19, we see that salvation goes on mere belief. “You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe and shudder.” So is it possible for someone to profess Christ as their Lord and continue
