We must be obedient of God calling wherever he sends us. I never imagined I would have buried my son Alex. Since then, God has emerged a new calling on my life. 2. Hardship, struggles, and temptation surrounds him from cities to cities. Remember, “Don’t spoil today by worrying about tomorrow.” Perseverance was key. Visualize yourself on a missionary journey during the peak time of your life, dwelling on the sole obedience of God’s calling. Upon entering a city to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, only to be arrested, placed in handcuffed, deprived of your belongings, and booked into a prison cell. Not much room for luxury, yet your faith is at its peak. Faithfully, God surrounds you with a people who are yet matured in Christ, however, they offer their most valuable asset which is hospitality. Thereby, Paul remain thankful, despite his turmoil for the hospitality and treatment received from the people of Philippi. Upon responding to their letter, we read of Philippians 4:1-2 in the dialogue of Paul's intimacy with the Philippians saying, “Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord.” Conclusion The used word, "Therefore" signifies what was previously said prior to standing steadfast in the Lord. Paul expressed to the church members to understand and maintain their lives in remaining in one spirit, one mind, one conversation, striving together for the sake of the gospel of Christ. The outward appearance toward all men is a part of letting the mind of Christ Jesus be in us (Philippians 2:5. The lord is to hand in senses. First, Jesus has promised that wherein two or three are collected together in his call, he is right there with them (Matthew 18:20). Secondly, he is on the sidelines, anticipating the day that the father has set for his return on earth (Mark 13:32). Prayerfulness is the cure to carefulness. Our supplications must be professionally handle with “thanksgiving” knowing that our heavenly father hears and solutions prayer. Where would the history of Christianity be, had Paul refused to obey God and not Submit to the Calling on his life? My brothers and sisters, imagine for a second the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one-man obedience to the call. I am clueless to the call on your life, what ever it might be? Each one of you know the calling on your life. How long must you wait? God is waiting for you, God is waiting for you. Will you answer to his call? Don’t look at your neighbors or someone else’s dilemma, what is God calling
