After having read Kennedy's inaugural speech, he identifies patriotism in different ways to explain it. One patriotic part in his speech is when he says, ¨A struggle against the common enemies of man : tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself¨. He was trying to explain that with all of the problems in the world, we should unite as a nation or world to fight against these problems. We need to get along to get things done and work together. In Kennedy's speech, he uses patriotism a lot to explain. Kennedy used the quote, ¨Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation¨.
