After having read Kennedy's inaugural speech, he identifies patriotism in different ways to explain it. One patriotic part in his speech is when he says, ¨A struggle against the common enemies of man : tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself¨. He was trying to explain that with all of the problems in the world, we should unite as a nation or world to fight against these problems. We need to get along to get things done and work together. In Kennedy's speech, he uses patriotism a lot to explain. Kennedy used the quote, ¨Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation¨. When Kennedy uses that quote, he's saying that when we are happy we have to have hope, when we are struggling or having problems we have to be patient. Again he is trying to say
