Pandora's was very important, in the Greek mythology culture because, she was said to be the first women carved. The box Zeus had given Pandora as a wedding gift was actually said to be a large jar which had contained. All the evils of the world. Zeus had given Pandora the box and told her to never open it. Zeus expected Pandora to obey his command. Zeus presented Pandora to her husband, Prometheus's brother Epimetheus. Pandora's name means "gift to all". Although Pandora loved her husband Epimetheus, she still was not happy. She was very curious about the box Zeus had given her.
