The Murderous Monster Jealousy, can turn a perfectly healthy relationship to a dead one literally. In Shakespeare's tragedy Othello he describes what happens when jealousy comes in and corrupts a relationship. In this tragedy the main character Othello allows Iago the villain to influence his relationship with his new wife Desdemona. At first it was like them against the world, but then Iago would say something so vague and leave the rest to Othello’s imagination. By saying vague things and suggestions Iago slithered his way into Othello's trust. The more that the story goes on the more twisted his view of his wife becomes, it becomes so bad that he was convinced that she was cheating on him. The final blow to Othello's trust in his
