The routers are divided as Cisco 3925 R1, R2, R32, R4 and the switches are named as Cisco 3560 Switch S1, Cisco 3550 Switch S2 and Cisco 2950 Switch S3.

f) Example of cross-over cable used in the laboratory is RJ-45 crossover cable, RJ-45 crossover cable is used to connect the two data terminal equipment devices such as switch-to-switch, router-to-router and host-to-host.
g) The scheme that Cisco uses to mark the port numbers on the routers is, Interface number = slot/port
h) LC Connector, SC Connector are two types of optical connectors. The connector type used in Gigabit interface of Cisco 3550 switches is 1000 BASE-T connector.
4.3) a) In ‘enable password’ command, the password will store in the format of privileged mode which means the password is open to a curtain person (or) a group of persons.
When coming to enable secret command the password will store in the format of encrypted mode i.e. unreadable cipher
