Training. Training is the one thing that the guard looks at upon enlisting. Schooling is the other most important training that is required for the guard. When you go to enlist they will make you take a special knowledge test to prove that you learned something. This test involves a PT test which is a physical training test. If you past this test you will gain access to the benefits of the guard you must be mentally and physically fit to enlist into the guard. Schooling is the main type of training that anyone can give you. The training you need is mental, physical and social you also must know how to handle equipment in a special way such as blowing them, preparing them and shutting them done also. Since it protects the nation it is called the National Guard. The guard helps with disasters such as floods, tornados and earthquakes and that describes how it protects. It also got its name from the government for bring the first mafia or protection. Since the army is too busy with combat and problems the National Guard is there to help. The government wanted a new organization to help the country and in combat and thus the guard was born. Many people have joined the guard as soon as it had been it available. It has been around since the French revolutions in the 1790s. It is the oldest program in the United States thus many people have been in it and have changed the name. The government wanted the country to be safer and have better protection from attackers. And help clean up from natural disasters such as floods, tornados, and many other nature related event that causes warm to the environment or the people. That is also how national fits into the name and sounds like a respectful and honoring career for people. Many Americans who are in the guard joined because they wanted to be a solider and fight for our country. You can easily enlist if you pass a certain test they give you upon singing. Then you could be a national guard’s men, or women. Many people are in it worldwide young and old. Young people who are in it are most likely to be a sergeant or a private. And people who are older are a much higher rank because they have been in it for quite some time and have more experience in the guard more than others. If a new person would to join, the officer higher them would have help them and look after them since they are new to the program and have no experience in it. Another main reason why people join is to help out the country and help with the community, also to serve on the battle field. Many people think joining the guard can help them in life, some are right and some are wrong. The ones who are right actually listen and follow instructions and don’t get in trouble. Ones who are wrong don’t follow instructions and get in trouble almost every day, those people the guard is not good for, but with people who are respectful of it they stay in it longer and talk other people into joining and eventually the end up doing it. This way higher people become role models and other people like them and look up to them. More people liking, means more people signing up. Mostly the guard is
