The room is darker this morning; perhaps its because of the massive storm brewing on the coast. I usually keep his curtains drawn till around ten thirty, allowing him to sleep as long as he would like; even though the doctors believe that I should keep him on a normal routine everyday. I believe that he should be able to live his last days on earth as he sees fit. That’s why I refuse to admit him into a nursing home. What kind of life is that? Just day after day of meds and nasty food. I married him for better or worse and I will be there till the end. That was the promise I made to GOD, to him, to his mother and to Ava.
