PRESTONWOOD CHOIR & ORCHESTRA On June 7, 2009, the Prestonwood Choir and Orchestra preformed, “We Will Remember” for the Pastor Jack Graham’s 20th Anniversary celebration in Plano, TX. It was beautifully preformed as a duet by Bradley and Holly Knight. “We Will Remember”, is a Christian song written by Tommy Walker. His inspiration for this song was a passage he read during a discouraging time in his life. “But our ancestors acted arrogantly; they became stiffnecked and did not listed to Your commands. They refused to listen and did not remember Your wonders You performed among them. They became stiff-necked and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt” (Neh. At this point, you feel their passion and faith. The dynamic, inflection and performance style is kept strong through out the remainder of the third verse followed by the “Hallelujahs”, which are performed with great intensity as if they were trying to get their faith across to everyone who was present. The choir proceeded to sing the chorus with the same strong dynamic decreasing the intensity, pitch and dynamic towards the end. The music’s performance style returns to a smooth and gentle sound. Bradley sings the final verse in a gentle smooth mellow tone and is joined by Holly and the choir. They join strong and persist to sing with great intensity. The orchestra, guitar, tambourine and the drums also remain strong. The energy, strong intensity and loud pitch is kept throughout the end of the song and they finish off with a spiritual and passionate “Amen”. The delivery of their performance was amazing. Their faith and spiritual connection could be felt throughout the performance. The choir provided great harmony and the orchestra along with the guitar, tambourine and the drums delivered a beautiful musical
