Muhammad Ali was a professional boxer. He won many fights with the majority of them being knockouts. He also became the heavyweight champion of the world. He is still alive today but he can not leave his house because of Parkinson's disease. He is remembered for calling himself "the greatest" (Source 4). He is married to Lonnie Williams. At one point in time he was considered one of the most famous people in the world. Muhammad Ali is known as one of the greatest boxers of all time. Muhammad Ali was born on January 17,1942. His birth name was Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky. Odessa Clay was Ali's mother. She was born on February 12,1917. She died on August 20,1994. She had a heart failure at a nursing home. His dad, Cassius Marcellus Clay Sr., was born on November 11,1912. He died on February 8,1990. Ali's brother, Rahman Ali was born in 1942. His birth name was Rudolph Valentino Clay. He is Ali's younger brother and a former heavyweight boxer. He is still alive today.…show more content…
