Mick Johnson is a tall and muscular boy that loves football. His father is very rough on him about football and wants him to be just like him. Mick wants to get big and get big fast. He goes and gets gym candy. Gym candy is steroids. Mike Johnson is a muscular guy. He is a former NFL player that comes from the huskies. He is hard on Mick to do the right thing. Sometimes he pushes him to far. He wants him not to be like him and not miss out on practice. Mick’s mom does not like how Mike is so hard on Mick. She says it will make him lose love for the game of football. She stopped coming to his games because she did not like watching her son get hit play after play. Peter told him to be careful with it because it had it’s highs and lows. Mick said it kicked in on Tuesday. He was walking down the hall when this kid ran into him and knocked the books out of his hand. He said he was sorry, and Mick just lost it. He slammed him into the locked and didn’t let him go. Drew grabbed him so he wouldn’t hurt him. Mick started to realize that the steroids are finally starting to kick in. He was faster, and bigger. He took another type of steroid before every game because he could run over everybody. But he was changing. He was depressed. He wasn’t hanging out with his friends. One day mick got hot of practice and Drew asked what was in his duffle bag and Mick said nothing was in it. Later, Drew was in his duffle bag and he found his steroids. Drew couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe that Mick would cheat the team like that. Everything was a lie. Drew said, “I got to tell coach about this.” Drew couldn’t do that to him. It would end his career.
